I bought the recommended size and it does fit. I usually wear an XL in t-shirts (16 to 18 top) and the XXL fit loosely but didn't overwhelm me. I am just under 5'4 for reference. A nude/skin colored bra underneath didn't show through either. I machine washed it on delicate and hung it to dry (hand pressing it while it was still wet). I will definitely order more of this top. It's cute.

She’s struggled finding shirts that feel flattering, aren’t clingy and cover her “kangaroo pouch” (that’s what she refers to it as). This shirt looked amazing on her and she felt amazing. We did use this shirt for a cute Disney trip shirt and the thin parts of transfer came up but any larger part of the transfer stayed well. So if you’re looking to use it for that, I’d be weary of thin lines when transferring to this shirt (like lettering or outlines) .
