They are a nice material - perhaps not really 100% cotton but maybe 99% cotton with a bit of lycra? They have a nice thickness without the feel that they will stretch out like a usual cotton T shirt. This shirt is comfortable and loose enough to fit a variety of body types but still fitted enough to not feel boxy or boyish. The length is just right, too, not too long and not too short.
