Not heavy at all and really a nice soft thin material that gives just a touch of warmth. Would not be thick enough for winter’s cold, but great for fall and spring. Looks good out of the package. I washed mine on a delicate cycle with low spin and hung it to dry. It dried in no time and held it’s shape. Did not shrink in the cold water wash.
