They are a really nice stretch fabric and super comfortable. I did order a medium and they fit nicely (not too baggy, not tight), which I was worried because sizes are usually off when ordering pants. However, if you don't like an elastic band on the ankles, I would look for something without. Overall, great buy.

I like a slightly looser fit so I ordered them again in the XL and they fit perfectly. I’m 5’5” and 160 pounds and they are just perfect for me. I’m sending the smaller ones to my niece who is 12 and she is excited to get them. So the material is polyester and some spandex. They are cool and not wrinkled at all. Drawstring waist is good. They come up to my waist which is good for me but maybe not for someone else who wants lower rise. I would say that if you’re taller than maybe 5’6” or so, they might be too short for you. I’m a 30” inseam and they are perfect. I reordered many more colors. Now have five different pairs. I can wear them inside for lounging or out with a dressy top here in Florida. Elastic in the ankle is not tight at all so I like that. I guess when these go out of style, you can always remove the elastic at the ankles. I will be wearing these a lot this year. PERFECT!
